WATERFOWL SLAM

The Journey Within – A Bird Hunter’s Diary Mark Peterson’s quest to hunt and harvest the 43 different species of waterfowl in North America. Between the fall of 2020 and spring of 2021 we filmed the first ever Waterfall slam in a single season. We traveled to over 10 states and 4 countries to complete the project. From the coasts of Kodiak, AK to the Coasts of Mexico on the sea of Cortez and everything in-between. This project was far from easy, it was difficult on our gear and even harder on our bodies. Almost 6 months straight of hunting and traveling. You can watch these on the Pursuit channel at Expedition Series with Mark Peterson as well on Mark V Peterson Hunting on YouTube. upland SLAM

The Journey Within – A Bird Hunter’s Diary Mark Peterson’s successful quest to hunt and harvest the 27 different species of upland birds in North America. This project started the year before the waterfall slam. Traveling all across the states and several counties to complete this slam. This upland slam was also the first time this has ever been documented on film. From the deserts of Mexico to the tundras of Alaska.
