MICHIGAN 2022

Joshua hubbs

This hunt was the most pressured and most stressful hunt Josh has ever been on. He flew into his home state with only four days to get a brand new bow, tune it, sight it in and kill a deer. After three days of hunting, he came to the last day and started regretting passing up the younger bucks. Once he got in some old timber, he heard two bucks fighting and knew it was on. Finally one of the bucks stepped out broadside on the road and all he could see was that it was a nice 4 x 4. He made a quick range at 68 yards drew my bow back and sent an arrow into the pump house.

OREGON 2022

This was the last day of the season and we knew this buck was on this ridge. We were going to pack up our stuff and head back to the truck and Josh decided to look back one more time and at that moment a doe came across the hillside and to our surprise the buck was right behind her. He set himself on the trail just in front of them and before he knew it, the doe was standing about 30 yards in front of him. Coming to full draw, and next thing he knew the buck’s antlers slowly came up behind her. She spooked and ran downhill, and the buck had no idea what was happening which gave him the opportunity to get one well placed shot.

With no hesitation he knocked an arrow, drew back and let it fly, The rest is history.

One of the most crazy turkey hunts Josh has ever been on. The morning started off with more gobbles than he has ever heard in his life. It seemed like the entire forest was alive. It was late in the evening, and the turkeys started to fire up again so Josh slipped into this gobbler without making a sound, and letting him do all the talking.
